    Embed code

Paste the code into a Custom HTML block (WordPress), an Embed element (Webflow, Framer, Wix) or any HTML page. Step-by-step guides.

    How it works

    1. Paste tweet links

Add up to 30 public tweets. AddTweets loads the text, author, date and photos once.

    2. Pick layout and style

Wall, slider or carousel, light or dark, your accent color and corner style. The preview updates live.

    3. Copy the code into your site

Paste one snippet into WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Framer, Squarespace or any HTML page.

Why not use the official embed?

The official X embed loads a large script and an iframe for every tweet. On a page with ten tweets that adds seconds on mobile and moves the layout around while it loads. AddTweets writes the tweets into your page as normal HTML, so they appear instantly and search engines can read them.

    • Tweet wall: a masonry grid, best for pricing and landing pages.
    • Tweet slider: one tweet at a time, best for narrow sections and sidebars.
    • Tweet carousel: three across with arrows, best for home page social proof.

    Where to paste the code

Anywhere your site accepts HTML. In WordPress use a Custom HTML block, in Webflow an Embed element, in Shopify a Custom Liquid section, in Wix an HTML iframe element. The embed guides show each step.

    Frequently asked questions

Will the tweet wall slow down my site?

No. The tweets are written into the embed code as plain HTML, so your page doesn't load X's widget script or call any API when someone visits. The only extra file is a 4 KB script that arranges the cards.

Can search engines read the embedded tweets?

Yes. Because the tweet text is real HTML on your page, search engines can read it like the rest of your content. That's a big difference from the official iframe embed.

    Is the tweet wall free?

Yes. Unlimited walls with up to 30 tweets each. Free walls show a small "Powered by AddTweets" link.

What happens when someone deletes a tweet that's on my wall?

Your wall keeps showing it until you update the code, because the text lives in your page. Save the wall to your account; when you open it again, deleted tweets are detected and removed, and you copy the fresh code.

Do I need an X account or API key?

No. You only need links to public tweets.

Does it work with dark themes?

Yes. Choose the dark theme and set an accent color that matches your brand.
