Privacy policy
Last updated:
Short version: AddTweets collects as little as it can. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site. Most tools run in your browser, and the free tweet library never leaves your device.
What we collect
| Data | When | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tweet links you paste and the public tweet data we fetch (text, author name and handle, media links) | Using any tweet tool | To show the tweet in your wall, image or collection, and to avoid fetching it twice | Until the tweet is deleted on X or no wall or collection uses it |
| Text or page addresses you paste into Content to tweets | Using that tool | Sent to an AI provider to write the tweets | Not stored by us after the answer is returned |
| Name, email address and profile picture from Google | Signing in with Google | To keep your walls and collections in your account | Until you delete your account |
| Email address and the option you choose | Joining the Pro waitlist | To send one email when Pro opens | Until Pro launches, then deleted unless you sign up |
| IP address and request counts | Every request to our tools | Daily limits and abuse protection | Daily counters only; IP addresses are not stored in our database |
What stays on your device
The free tweet library (tweets, tags, notes) is saved in your browser's storage. Quote images are drawn in your browser. We can't see either. Clearing your browser data deletes the free library, so export it first if you want a copy.
Cookies
We set one cookie when you sign in, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. The spam check on forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) may process technical data about your browser to tell people from bots.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs our server code and stores account data.
- Google handles sign-in when you choose "Sign in with Google".
- An AI provider receives the text you submit to Content to tweets. Free-tool inputs may be used by that provider under its own terms, so don't paste anything confidential.
- A tweet data provider is used to read public tweets by link.
Your choices
You can delete walls and collections at any time from your account, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything linked to it by emailing contact@addtweets.com. If a public collection shows your tweet and you want it removed, email us the page link.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for account holders, send an email.
