Tweet to image
Turn a tweet into a clean quote card for Instagram, LinkedIn, Stories or slides. Paste a link, pick a size, download a PNG.
How it works
Paste a tweet link
Copy the link of any public post on X and press Load. Or switch to your own text for a quote card with your name.
Pick a size and style
Choose Instagram, Story, LinkedIn or slide size and one of four styles. The preview updates as you click.
Download or copy
Save a full-size PNG or copy the image straight into your post. The card is drawn in your browser.
When a tweet works better as an image
Use an image when the words matter more than the link. Instagram doesn't make links clickable in posts, LinkedIn shows plain tweet links as small previews, and slide decks need a picture. A quote card keeps the words readable at phone size and keeps the author's name attached.
- Tweet to Instagram post: square and portrait sizes that fill the feed.
- Tweet to LinkedIn image: wide cards that match LinkedIn's image posts.
- Customer praise for a sales deck: use the 16:9 slide size and the Paper style.
Tips for a card people stop on
Short tweets make the best cards. Under about 180 characters the text stays large enough to read without zooming. For long tweets, pick the portrait or Story size so the text has room.
Frequently asked questions
Is the tweet to image tool free?
Yes. Every size and style is free, with no watermark and no sign-up. The optional "Made with addtweets.com" line is off unless you switch it on.
Does it upload my tweet or image anywhere?
No. The tweet text is loaded once to fill the card, and the image itself is drawn in your browser with the Canvas API. Nothing you make is stored on our servers.
Why doesn't the card look exactly like a screenshot of X?
On purpose. A fake screenshot can be edited to put words in someone's mouth. AddTweets makes clean quote cards that always show the real author when you start from a tweet link.
What sizes can I export?
Instagram square (1080×1080), Instagram portrait (1080×1350), Story (1080×1920), LinkedIn and link posts (1200×627) and 16:9 slides (1920×1080).
Can I use images of other people's tweets?
Quoting a public tweet with credit is common practice, but the words belong to their author. Credit them, don't change what they said, and ask first if you're using it in an ad.
