How to embed tweets in Framer
Framer's Embed component has an HTML mode that runs the AddTweets code.
Steps
Copy the code
Build your wall in AddTweets and click Copy code.
Insert an Embed
In Framer open Insert, search for Embed and place it on the canvas where the wall should be.
Paste as HTML
In the Embed's settings choose HTML, paste the code, then set the width to Fill and the height to Fit content if your layout allows it.
Good to know
- If the height can't fit the content, set a fixed height that shows the whole wall on each breakpoint, or use the slider layout.
- Preview the site; some embeds only render fully in preview and on the published site.
Questions
Is there a Framer plugin needed?
No. The built-in Embed component is enough.
Do I need to update the code when I add tweets?
Yes. The tweets are inside the code, so after you change a wall in AddTweets, copy the new code and replace the old one. Save the wall to your account so you can reopen and edit it.
