How to embed tweets in Notion

Notion pages don't accept custom HTML or scripts, so the wall code can't run inside Notion itself. These options do work.

Steps

  1. One tweet: use Notion's own embed

Paste a tweet link into a Notion page and choose Create embed. Notion shows that single tweet.

  2. Several tweets: share a collection

Build a collection in AddTweets, save it and paste its link into Notion as a bookmark or embed so readers can open the full list.

  3. Notion as a website: use custom code

If you publish Notion through a site builder that supports custom code, paste the AddTweets wall code into that builder's code section.

Good to know

  • For a newsletter-style page in Notion, copy an AddTweets collection as Markdown and paste it; Notion turns it into quotes and links.

Questions

Can I paste the wall code into a Notion code block?

You can paste it, but Notion will only display it as text. Code blocks don't run scripts.

What's the fastest way to show many tweets in Notion?

Copy an AddTweets collection as Markdown and paste it into the page. You get each tweet as a quote with its author and link.
